Estonian Jewish Museum

The Estonian Jewish museum holds information on the fate of Estonian Jews. The museum’s exhibition is made up of three parts: the permanent exhibition, the library of books written by or about Estonian Jews, and an electronic archive page which entails information on Estonian Jews. There is also a large archive that holds the originals of documents.

The museum has a religion department offering diverse information. There are documents connected to the three synagogues in Estonia, including original items from Tartu synagogue. The history department features records on the first mention of Jews in Estonia in 1333 and also an exhibition on the establishment of the Estonian Jewish community.
